Every kingdom operating in this world and in the heavenly has a language in which they communicate. The animal kingdom, human kingdom, the kingdom of the world, and the kingdom of heaven, all have different and unique language that governs their kingdom.
When men started to build the tower of Babel, and to make name for themselves, the only thing God could do was to confuse their language, thereby destroying their kingdom. “And the LORD said ‘Indeed the people are one and they all have one language and this is what they began to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech” Genesis 11: 6, 7.
The word language means the system of sounds and words used by humans to express their thoughts and feelings, and the word kingdom means a country or state ruled by a king or queen. “As many as received Him (JESUS), to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God” JOHN 1: 12, 13. “He (GOD) has delivered us from the power (kingdom) of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love” COLOSSIANS 1:13.
If you are indeed born of God, you are in a new kingdom, the kingdom of heaven ruled by God and you must understand the language of this kingdom.
LOVE is the language of the kingdom. The prayer of Jesus in John 17: 20-26 “I do not pray for these alone , but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one as You Father are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us that the world may believe that you sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have LOVED them as You have LOVED Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You LOVED Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the LOVE with which You LOVED Me may be in them, and I in them”
Hebrew 10: 24 says “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works.
1 John 4:7-8 “Beloved, let us love one another for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
WHAT IS LOVE
The Greek word for this LOVE is Agape which denote an undefeatable benevolence and unconquerable goodwill that always seeks the highest good of other person, no matter what he does. Agape is the self-giving. Love that gives freely without asking anything in return and does not consider the worth of its object. This Love describes the unconditional Love God has for the world when He gave His Son to die for us. John 3:16, 1 John 4:9.
What Agape Love Has Never Done
• Love never enslaved the weaker.
• It never takes advantage of the ignorant.
• It never steals or takes advantage.
• It never behaves unseemly in the family life.
• It never gets drunk.
• It never set bad example for the children.
• It does not swear, blaspheme or use vile language.
• It does not rejoice in evil things.
• It is never happy when its enemy is defeated.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:43-47 “Pray for your enemies and in verse 48 He says “Therefore you shall be perfect just as your Father in heaven is perfect”. The word perfect in Greek means teleros which means soundness, being whole or maturity. Looking at the context of this verse “Be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect” means be whole or mature in LOVE as your heavenly Father is whole or mature in LOVE. Has He is Love, you also must be Love. “But above all these things put on love which is the bond of perfection.” 1 Corinthians 3:14.
What Love Does
• It seeks not its own.
• It destroys selfishness.
• It bears the burdens of others.
• When it discovers that someone has done an unseemly thing, it covers it up, it shield it and never talks about it.
• It makes men soft.
When selfishness, anger, jealousy, hatred, contentions, adultery, envy, heresy, fornication want to come in, flash through your mind, or you find yourself thinking or acting this things. You say to yourself NO, NO, NO, this is not my kingdom. LOVE is the language of my kingdom. “Now hope does not disappoint because the Love of God has been poured out in our heart by the Holy Spirit who was given to us”. Romans 5:5.
To walk and talk fully in this language you need to allow the Holy Spirit full access into your life. The bible employs us to walk in the Spirit, in order not to fulfill the lust (desires) of the flesh. The desire of the flesh are; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness and reveries. But when the Holy Spirit controls your life, He produces in you; Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
I encourage you to give the Holy Spirit full access and control in your life today. If you have not receive Jesus Christ into your life, you can’t be a part of this kingdom, the kingdom of heaven and you can’t walk or talk in this language.
I encourage you to do so now by saying this prayer:
LORD JESUS CHRIST, I CONFESS YOU AS MY LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOUR.
I BELIEVE YOU DIED AND ROSE AGAIN FOR MY SALVATION.
LORD JESUS, COME INTO MY HEART, FORGIVE ME MY SINS AND CLEANSE ME WITH YOUR BLOOD. I RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE INTO MY SPIRIT
THANK YOU JESUS FOR SAVING ME. AM NOW A CITIZEN OF HEAVEN (AMEN)
